I am Bernie Paulson. In 1993, my wife Pat and I started McPherson Crop Management. We operated the company out of our home in St. Clair, which is in McPherson Township of Blue Earth County. In 1998, we moved to Pat's family farm and started operating the Schneider Family Farm in 1999. In the last five years, we have added tile, lime, fertilizer and turkey litter to dramaticaly improve the productivity of the farm. We use Farm Works software and hardware in all aspects of our farm business, from accounting to various Precision Ag operations such as tile maps and VR lime applications.

I'm Andy Dimmel. I’ve been an employee at McPherson Crop Management for about 4 years. I am considered to be the GIS Specialist which means, I make a lot of maps! These maps include; Crop Planning, Nutrient, Recommendation, Yield, Tile Line, Boundary, Soil Type, and Manure maps (just to name a few). I am also the training specialist for the GPS programs (Site, SiteMate) for our mapping software, FarmWorks. In the spring and summer I am the supervisor/organizer of all of our fieldwork activities. These activities include crop scouting and nutrient sampling. I received my diploma from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, in June of 2000. My majors were Geography and Organizational Management. I have been married since July of 2002 to my wife, Heather who is a 1st grade teacher in Faribault. I am also a farmer. I began farming on my own in 2002, running about 140 acres, having most of it custom done. Other than that, I officiate basketball games in the winter and enjoy spending time playing golf and basking in the sun in the summer. |
